Cute Spring PTU

Drop Shadow=DS=2,2,50,5 black

First download my files,these are the Examples and the grass and sky.

Let's begin

900 X 900

1.) Grass -- Copy and Paste = C&P as New Raster Layer = NRL--close out bottom layer--place grass on bottom left--duplicate = DUP-- mirror--Merge Down = MD-Crop opaque--now DUP again--flip and move down to the top of the other--MD--DUP--and flip-- (repeat 1 more time) when you have enough grass-Merge Visible = MV-- and rename Grass.

2.) Tree - Resize = R= 22% -- Unsharp mask = USM-- C&P as NRL-- place on right side --DS and Tag Reference = TR

3.) Tulip  - R=22% & 50%--USM--C&P as NRL-place on the right side by the tree--DUP-R=80^ place it next to the other one MD---DS-- DUP--Mirror--place these on right side of tree.

4.) Sun --R = 20% & 80% X2--
USM--C&P as NRL -rename--Sun--place it on top left--DS--TR

5.) Sky ---C&P as NRL- place it above bottom layer--DO NOT DS---Opacity = 75%

6. Rainbow--R =22% & 80%--USM--C&P as NRL-place on right side--behind tree--DS--move layer right above sky--rename rainbow

7.) Kite--R = 22% -USM--C&P as NRL - DS-- Place on left side-- TR

8.) Tube--R--if needed--C&P as NRL---place on bottom left--DS--TR

9.) Cupcake 1 --R = 22% & 80% X3 --USM--C&P as NRL-

place on left bottom in front of tube--DS--TR--DUP.--R=80%--DUP -- R- 80%--place a few around your tag, I did them in different sizes.

10.) Bunny-- R = 22% -- USM--C&P as NRL- Place on right side of flowers--DS--TR--DUP--80%--move it forwars a bit--TR

11.) Jelly Beans scatter-- R = 15%--USM--C&P as NRL-Place on right side and move under the bunny layer--DS--TR--DUP--R= 75-sharpen--place layer below tube--TR--with raster deform tool--make it a little smaller--TR

12.) Open Basket as New layer--Shift key and D--duplicate Basket--close out original-- now R= 50% all layers unchecked--USM--move it down a little--

a.) Leaves--R = 20% & 80%-USM--C&P as NRL- --Place on front left side of basket--DUP--move this one behind basket--Cut off the area hanging over basket-- EX. 1--I used the Lasso tool with these settings - Point to point-- add shift--feathering= 1 -smoothing= 0--anti-alias--checked.--delete--select none= SN-- now make sure there is none hanging over on the bottom tulip..EX. 2 AND EX. 3

b.) Tulip -- R = 20% & 80% X2--USM --C&P as NRL -DUP --and close out--On top one, go around the part that is over hanging-- EX. 4--   DS..

c.)  open the DUP-- move it in front of other tulip, erase any over laying-- DS ---TR

d.) C&P Tulip again, mirror --TR--DS (repeat B & C )=when ready--MV all layers--C&P Basket as NRL -- R = 80% X2-sharpen--move behind tube layer.

13.) Kit Bird -- R = 20%, 50% & 80%--USM--C&P as NRL--

place on the tree--DUP-  R = 80%-- mirror-- place in the front of tag---TR.

14.) I added some butterflys that come with the tube.

15.) Close out the Sun--MV all layers below it-- Rename Top

16.) Close out top and Sun--MD--sky with Bottom layer-- md both tulips with the tree layer--

17.) If you don't want to animate--close out all layers--and MV..R= 56%-sharpen-- ADD all Copyrights and Name--save as PNG.

18.) Grey Cloud--R- 25% USM--C&P as NRL - DON'T DS-- place on top of the sky layer-starting at the tree --TR-- DUP.--NO DS--now DUP, As many clouds as you want...I did 5..Starting near the tree on the right--1st layer= 50,2nd layer= 60, 3rd layer = 70, 4th layer = 80 and last layer 5th- layer = 90, move the 5th layer over the sun...TR

19.) Close out all but the 1st cloud layer.-- Now R=56%--sharpen

20.) Add all Credits and Copy right info,as well as your name..

Open Animation Shop

Let's Animate

DUP. Sun X5--and Close out all Suns but the 1st one..

Now with both #1's open, copy merged, and paste into Animation as New Animation.

PSP-- close #1's --- open #2's-- and repeat till you have 5 frames in animation shop..

TR--

Now edit-select all- Frame Properties- with these settings

1= 125...2= 110...3= 110...4=110...5=125

once happy save as GIF

Let's Begin

Drop Shadow = DS--2,2,50,5 Black

1.) Grab a color from your tube- I used 256652-make it your background color--fill none- Go to your "Preset Shapes" and get one that will look good with this tut-- I used "Arrow 21" which came with my program.. these settings-- Anti-alias --checked--create as Vector-checked--Line style -- Solid-- Width= 20, EX1 & EX2 (objects--align--Center in Canvas) convert to raster layer

2.) With Magic wand-click on the inside--selection-modify--10

Paper 4 -or the one you choose--Copy and paste = C&P as New Raster Layer = NRL - invert on frame --delete on paper--Select none = SN--move below shape -- DS -- both

3.) Tube of choice--C&P as NRL--Place in center of frame--Resize = R--- if needed--- duplicate = dup.--and move this layer below the frame layer-- erase any part of tube, hanging over and under the frame-- DS --the dup.-- Close out bottom layer (keep it closed for now) Merge Visible = MV-- all layers -- (rename frame)-- R = 80% move to upper left corner--tag reference = TR..

4.) El. 13 -- R = 80% - sharpen -- C&P as NRL --move to right side - DS --TR

5.) El. 14 --R = 60 % - sharpen -- C&P as NRL--place on left side-- DS -- TR

6.) El. 15 --R = 60%-- sharpen -- C&P as NRL--place in center -- DS --TR

7.) El. 16 -- R = 60%--  sharpen -- C&P as NRL-- Place beside frame-- DS--TR

8.) El. 17 -- R = 60%--sharpen -- C&P as NRL-place anywhere you wish--I placed mine upper left side-- DS--TR

9.) El. 18 --R= 75% --sharpen -- C&P as NRL--place anywhere you wish -again I placed mine-- on the right side of frame.

10.) El. 19 --R = 90 % -sharpen -- C&P as NRL--place on right side move layer below-- El.16-- DS --TR

11.) El. 20 -- R = 90%-sharpen -- C&P as NRL--place on bottom left side--move layer to right above bottom layer--DS --TR

12.) El. 21 --R= 90%-sharpen -- C&P as NRL-plsce upper right--mirror- DS --TR

13.) El. 22 --R= 50% -unsharp - mask--C&P as NRL--place upper left side--Mirror-- DS.--TR

14.) Image 3 -- C&P as NRL -- place on upper right -- Free - rotate- Left 45% -- place layer below frame-- DS --TR.

15.) Image 2 -- C&P as NRL -- Free rotate - Left 25% -- place on upper left side of tag -- DS -- TR--move layer below frame.

16.) Image 6 -- C&P as NRL --  free rotate = right 25%--place right below 1st sucker-- DS -- TR--  move layer below frame.

17.) Image 7 --  C&P as NRL -- free rotate - left 25 % place layer below frame -- DS -- TR

18.) Image 35 -- C&P as NRL - mirror --place in front center -- DS -- TR

19.) with bottom layer still closed -- MV -- all layers -when happy -- R = 56 % -- sharpen

20.) Paper 5 ( or one you want ) -- C&P as NRL -- move layer below the merged layer-- add mask of choice -- delete mask-- ungroup layers -- crop - opaque --  when happy -- open bottom layer -- and MV all layers.

21. ) Add any word art that you wish I wrote a little saying-- TR -- then add ALL Copy right info.-- and Name-- when happy- MV all layers again and save as PNG..

I hope you like this tut, I had fun with all the elements,there are some really cool ones.. Like I said this was part of a Blog -train back in 2010-- I wish I knew which one.

The Kit I am using is called "Pink Sunshine" and is by Alexis's Graphics Palace and can be found Here  

You will need 1 Close-up and 1 full size or half size, tubes

Drop Shadow = DS = 2,2,50,5 black

Let's begin

900 X 900

1.) EL. 23-- Copy and Paste = C&P as New Raster Layer = NRL--center it.

2.) With freehand selection tool-(point to point --add shift--feather = 0-- smoothing = 0-- anti-alias -checked- )- go around the yellow part of the element..

3.) Close -up -- C&P as NRL--resize = R = if needed-- place it in center of element--invert on element--delete on Close-up--Select none = SN--DS--element and tube--Close out bottom layer and Merge Visible= MV --move it to upper left side of canvas--tag reference = TR--rename #1

4.)  EL. 25 - C&P -As NRL-- place on bottom right corner-- DS

5.) EL. 26 -- C&P as NRL-- place on upper right corner-- DS --duplicate = dup -- mirror and flip --Merge Down = MD

6.) EL. 52-- C&P as NRL -- place on middle right side--DS--mover layer below the #1 layer--TR

7.) EL. 51--C&P as NRL-- place on top , left side-DS--free rotate --left 25--TR

8.) EL. 57 --C&P as NRL----place on left center--DS--move it over-- TR

9.) EL. 01--C&P as NRL-- place upper right ( R= 80 X2--sharpen --unsharp mask = USM--) DS

10.) EL.6--C&P as NRL--mirror- place over sun--DO NOT DS

11.) Other Tube- --C&P as NRL--R= if needed-- place in center--dup.--blur--gaussian-6-blend mode=soft light--opacity= 90--MD--DS

12.) EL. 60 -- R = 50% --USM  --C&P as NRL--place on full tube at bottom--dup.--place this one under EL.25--on top one- with freehand selection tool--go around top ,.and then delete as in EX.2--DS bottom one--SN

EX.2

 

13.) EL.60--C&P as NRL--Place on right side top--DO NOT DS--move layer below EL.6--opacity 80%--TR

14.) EL. 20 --C&P as NRL-- place on left side--DS--move layer below music note layer.

15.) EL. 45-R = 50%--USM--C&P as NRL--mirror and place on bottom left--DS--TR

16.) EL. 46 -R = 50% -- USM --C&P as NRL--place right above EL. 45--DS--TR

17.) EL. 47 - R = 75 % --USM--C&P as NRL--place on right side bottom next to mask--DS--TR--free rotate = L 25%

18.) EL. 48 - R = 75 %-USM--C&P as NRL--place on left side--DS--TR

19.) EL. 50-R = 75%--USM--C&P as NRL--place right below sun--free rotate--R25 --DS-- TR

20.) With bottom layer still closed--MV-all other layers--R = 56%--sharpen

21.) EL. 63--C&P as NRL--move layer above bottom layer--crop--opaque - 504X504---Opacity 70%--open the bottom layer--MV - ALL Layers

22.) Add All Credits and save as PNG.
